So... I got tagged by :icongenisay:. XD I can't choose just one of my group, though. It may take a while before I have all of them finished.

Name: Alexei

Age: 20
Species: Echidna
Height: 4'4" / 132 cm
Birthday:  Day 342

Fact 1: Alexei was born and raised in Albion. His parents, Andrei and Maia-Me, were both respected scientists, although his mother gave up her scientific pursuits when he was born to look after him permanently. A few years later, Alexei's younger sister Anna-Re was born.

Fact 2: From a young age, Alexei showed an interest and innate talent for creative writing and visual art. Anna-Re (and to a lesser extent, Maia-Me) encouraged these talents; Andrei, however, felt himself on the verge of a breakthrough in his field of Chaos energy studies, and was insistent on grooming Alexei to follow in his footsteps as a scientist to preserve his legacy. As a result of his father's tutelage, Alexei gained advanced knowledge of engineering and computer programming, which were instrumental to Alexei developing his skills as a hacker.

Fact 3: When Alexei was 16, he secretly hacked one of Robotnik's communications satellites and met Dodge, who lived on the other side of Mobius in Kawa Crossing. Alexei and Dodge became fast friends, each showing off their artwork to the other and discussing-- Alexei with his drawings and paintings, and Dodge with his photography. Eventually Andrei caught Alexei having a conversation with Dodge and pulled the plug, livid with his son that he had accessed Robotnik's system and potentially endangered Albion. The consequent argument between Alexei and Andrei ended with Alexei moving away from his family to build a new studio in Mercia.

Fact 4: Alexei wasn't in his new studio in Mercia very long-- he built himself a new computer console and once more hacked into Robotnik's network to speak with Dodge, but this time he wasn't careful enough and Robotnik became aware of his presence. When a squad of Robotnik's Robians descended on the studio and burned it to the ground (along with all of Alexei's art inside), Alexei just barely escaped. He spent the next three days running and hiding from the Robians in the Mercian forest. Rain-soaked, hungry, sleep-deprived, and drained physically and emotionally, he finally collapsed at the end of the third day, expecting to not survive the night.

Fact 5: When Alexei awoke, he found that he had been rescued by Julienne. Realizing Mercia was no longer safe for either of them, they paired up and set out for Soleanna together. Although not referred to as such at the time, this was the humble beginning of Team Muse.

Fact 6: After four years and many adventures traveling around Mobius with his friends, Alexei returned with them to Albion to visit his family. Unfortunately, he received a horrible shock-- by that point, Albion had already been leveled by Eggman with Dr. Finitevus's help (as detailed in Archie StH issue #182), as well as depopulated by Thrash the Tasmanian devil (as seen in the "Endangered Species" arc, issues #243-246). The team ran into Haydrian Bluu [Genisay], who had been stranded on the island by a storm, and together they escaped the packs of feral Tasmanian devil dogs which had been left behind by Thrash. Alexei later learned that, though his mother and sister had been among the echidnas abducted by Thrash, his father had not been in Albion at the time and thus had not been abducted.

Fact 7: When Team Muse was in Albion, Vina came across a locket that Alexei had given to Anna-Re for her 14th birthday-- the final birthday of hers for which Alexei had been present. Alexei now carries that locket with him wherever he goes; it's one of the most treasured items he has.

Fact 8: Personality-wise, Alexei is an INFP-- articulate, idealistic, generally pretty laid-back unless and until something threatens him, his creative works, or especially his friends. He has a much more sarcastic sense of humor than the rest of the group, and being more flexible and grounded makes him a very stable leader.

Fact 9: In addition to being one of the group's two engineers, Alexei is also physically the strongest member of Team Muse, as well as a good climber.

Fact 10: Since meeting Julienne, Alexei has spent nearly all of the past four years traveling with his friends in Team Muse. The single major exception was a period of about two months after reuniting and reconciling with Andrei. During that period, he left Team Muse to help his father settle in a new home in the village of Merona (Haydrian's hometown in mainland Mercia).

Name: Julienne DeL'Haie

Age: 20
Species: Hedgehog
Height: 4'2" / 129.5 cm
Birthday: Day 304

Fact 1: Julienne was born and raised a small town in southern Mercia called Ville DeL'Haie. Her father, Jean-Pierre, was a world-renowned chef, and her mother Sophie often worked alongside him as a caterer for formal functions held by the local nobility. Julienne therefore had a sophisticated upper class upbringing, and her parents were very well-connected to the Mercian elites; Armand D'Coolette and his wife Marie were among their acquaintances, prior to moving to the Kingdom of Acorn with their son Antoine.

Fact 2:  The DeL'Haie family is descended from a noble ancestral bloodline. At a certain point long ago, the bloodline forked and created two main branches: a southern, Francophone branch (the DeL'Haies), and a northern, Anglophone branch (the O'Hedges, which later branched off again into the Rose family). This means that, technically speaking, Rob O' the Hedge and Amy Rose are both distant cousins to Julienne.

Fact 3: In addition to being Team Muse's best chef, Julienne is also the group's strongest swimmer, and the only member of the group experienced in skiing or riding a Streaking Pasha. This stems largely from the fact that, as a result of her family's affluence, she spent a great deal of time as a girl doing all of these activities. As a girl, she had a black pet Streaking Pasha named Minuit.

Fact 4: Although it may seem, within the context of the Sonic universe, that Julienne's speech patterns come closest to resembling Antoine's, Julienne's grammar is not nearly as awkward as Antoine's. Antoine's studies of the English and French languages were forced upon him simultaneously at a young age due to a disagreement between his parents, and then prematurely ended when he lost them both during Robotnik's coup; as a result, Antoine ended up jumbling them together into a single, humorously ill-conceived pidgin language out of confusion. By contrast, Julienne learned fluent French as her first language, and then began learning English as a second language. Her understanding of the differences in vocabulary, morphology and syntax between the two languages is much more refined than Antoine's, and her accent is more organic and understated-- although she does occasionally still have difficulty with more nuanced aspects of English, such as idioms. When speaking English with her friends, she has an apparently unconscious and involuntary tendency to slip in French words or phrases; this is especially true when she is at a loss for the correct English words to describe something, or when she is in a distraught emotional state (in which case she may even lapse completely into French). When speaking English, she also uses contractions very sparingly, preferring "cannot" to "can't".

Fact 5: When Julienne was 7 years old, she went with her parents on a ski vacation in the mountains of northern Eurish-- the last such vacation she would take with them. The only way to access the road to the ski chalet was through the small Mercian port town of Merona, which would later become Haydrian Bluu's hometown.

Fact 6: Julienne lost both of her parents during Robotnik's initial incursion into Mercia, shortly after his coup against the Kingdom of Acorn. At the time, they were in the region around Snottingham, catering a dinner for a northern Mercian aristocrat named Lord Taurence, with a nanny looking after Julienne at home in Ville DeL'Haie. Robotnik sent his SWATbots to crash the party and capture everyone in attendance. Taurence himself escaped through a secret passage, but the rest of his guests, including Jean-Pierre and Sophie, were taken and roboticized. As one of Robotnik's minions, Jean-Pierre later led the team of Robians who burned down Alexei's studio. However, he himself was destroyed by Robotnik in response to his failure to actually capture Alexei. It is unknown what ever became of Sophie.

Fact 7: Robotnik's invasion took a longer time to reach Ville DeL'Haie. By that point, news of her parents' capture had already reached Julienne, and she had resolved to honor her father's memory by becoming as great a chef as he was. When Robotnik's forces finally moved into Ville DeL'Haie, Julienne fled into the woods, where she lived for several years under Robotnik's radar. Eventually, one day, she came across Alexei passed out in the forest, and she rescued him. The two have been close friends ever since.

Fact 8: Julienne is a loving and devoted girlfriend to Strider Hedgehog [seasidehedgehog]. They met over two years ago, on the beach in Kawa Crossing. The chemistry between them was nearly instantaneous; after watching a beach volleyball match between Team Seaside (comprised of Strider and Ace) and Team Sand Blast (comprised of Slash and Dash), they bonded over dinner at one of Strider's favorite beachside restaurants. Even though theirs is more often than not a long-distance relationship (with Julienne traveling with her friends and collecting recipes, and Strider touring on the Mobian Beach Volleyball League circuit), they spend as much time together as they can, and neither one has ever wavered in their commitment to each other.

Fact 9: Julienne is, generally speaking, the most organized and concerned with cleanliness within the group-- which is understandable, given her role in food preparation. She is meticulous about keeping her kitchen spotless, with everything arranged in a very specific way, right down to her spice rack being organized in alphabetical order. She has a mild germ phobia, and gets profoundly irritated when anything or anyone (which, in most cases, means Gogo) violates her organizational system.

Fact 10: Although not formally trained in combat skills, Julienne can certainly hold her own when she needs to-- particularly if she's got a frying pan close by.

Name: Vina Chandradhwani

Age: 19
Species: Indian Treeshrew
Height: 4'2" / 127 cm
Birthday:  Day 344

Fact 1: Vina originates from the mountain village of Chandradhwani, in the Razi-- an isolationist Mobian kingdom in southern Yurashia. The village of Chandradhwani itself is a remarkable feat of engineering, with the city consisting entirely of a labyrinth of caverns, tunnels, scaffolds, bridges, stairways, ladders, and ornate structures carved out of opposing sheer cliff faces hundreds of feet above the floor of a river canyon. High winds and snow are common most of the year.

Fact 2: The naming convention in the Razi is generally to take the place of one's birth as a surname, and to never change it, even in marriage. Hence, Vina's surname being Chandradhwani as well.

Fact 3: In the culture of the Razi, Vina is considered a zeedha (a concept roughly equivalent to the real-life Hindu concept of a siddha). Zeedhas are Mobians who possess supernatural powers-- abilities outside the realm of what is considered normal for each individual species. Vina's abilities, which she has exhibited since she was a young girl, include levitation and third eye sight-- which means that, when she closes her eyes and concentrates, she can see in infrared and night vision, as well as seeing into the past, future, or the present in another location. Her abilities, however impressive they may be, are not without their limits; it takes her a tremendous amount of focus and energy to see beyond about two months into the past or future, and past that time constraint, her vision begins to blur substantially. At about two years in either direction, she is to the point that she can no longer see anything. Vina can only access her zeedha powers while wearing her cyan bindi jewel headdress, which is a family heirloom given to her by her grandmother when she was 8 years old.

Fact 4: Vina's parents, Ravi and Roshana, both died when she was very young-- too young to have many memories of either of them. For much of her childhood, she was raised by her maternal grandmother Shaila. When Shaila died, seemingly of old age, she was adopted by the town priest, Bhrotra Damstra, and raised to be his protégé. It was under Damstra that she received the focus training necessary to use her abilities to their full extent-- for her master's benefit, of course.

Fact 5: At 19, Vina is the youngest of the five members of Team Muse, and their resident musical prodigy. She is considered a virtuoso with her sitar, and talented with many other instruments as well.

Fact 6: Vina was also the final member of the five to join the group. During the group's excursion into the mountains along the southern reaches of the Dragon Kingdom, when the group met Neve the snow leopard [mandy-kun] for the first time and took her on as a guide, they all stumbled into the village of Chandradhwani, which they mistakenly thought at first was completely abandoned. Vina had seen the group coming, and had been instructed by Damstra to ensure that the foreigners had no ill intent. After saving Alexei's life, Vina let slip that she was secretly aware that Damstra had been responsible for her grandmother's death, with the intention of exploiting her for her zeedha powers. The rest of the group, horrified to hear how she had been forced to submit to Damstra's bidding, decided to liberate her, and in the ensuing fight against the priest, they prevailed.

Fact 7: One of the main reasons that Vina had not rebelled against Damstra until meeting Team Muse is due to the social structure of the Razi. Much like real-life India, the Razi has a rigid caste system-- although the Razi's caste system is based on species. Damstra, a pit viper, was considered a member of the Baramah priest caste-- the second-highest class in the system, comprised entirely of snakes. By comparison, Vina (and most of her friends) fall into the Sodarah caste, the lowest rung on the social ladder, simply by virtue of being small mammal species. Until Team Muse's arrival, Vina found it entirely inconceivable to disobey Damstra due to his higher status.

Fact 8: Interestingly, at least two of Vina's friends-- Dodge and Neve-- are considered by Razi culture to be in a caste above her: the Vhayazah caste, or merchants. This caste is reserved for birds, small reptiles aside from snakes, and medium-sized mammals (which includes lynxes and leopards). As Vina has traveled with her friends and worked to become less rigidly bound to the caste system with which she was raised, her treatment of Dodge in particular has been one of the most visible signs of her progression. As a sign of reverence, she used to refer to him constantly as "Mr. Dodge" and tend to want to avoid eye contact with him, much to his bemusement. She's gotten much better about the eye contact, but "Mr. Dodge" still occasionally slips out now and then.

Fact 9: During the group's visit to Albion, when they encountered Haydrian, it was discovered that Vina's bindi jewel was in fact a shard of a Chaos Emerald, which explained why the headdress would be so instrumental in her ability to use her zeedha powers. It would not be discovered until much later that the specific powers which manifested for Vina actually depend on the color of the Chaos Emerald being tapped-- i.e., it is only with a cyan Emerald that Vina can use her third eye sight.

Fact 10: As you might infer from fact 9, Vina is also the only member of Team Muse (or any of my characters so far) to actually have a Super form. However, details about Vina's Super form are still, as of yet, shrouded in mystery-- it has yet to be unlocked, and neither she nor any of her friends even know that she has one at this point.

More to come!
