Souvenir from Twinkle Park

Ugggh, this took forever to finish. =_=

This is sort of a little surprise gift for , whom I recently commissioned for a drawing of my Sonic FC Julienne. Unfortunately, she's been feeling really under the weather lately, so I figured I'd do a gift art for her. This is based on a passage from a fan fiction I wrote called "Double Date in Station Square", where Julienne and Neve [mandy-kun] are on a date with their boyfriends Strider [seasidehedgehog] and Neoma [Nishisin] (neither pictured here). While the four of them are at Twinkle Park, they run into Safyran's character Saffron, who insists that Julienne and Neve go with her onto a roller coaster. Saffron's really enjoying it, but Julienne's not too happy about the whole experience-- and Neve's just kind of her usual stoic self.

I did a ton of research for references here. I wanted it to really look like one of those awful cheesy souvenir photos that theme parks always try to sell people after they've been on a roller coaster. It was deliberately supposed to look horrible, like a camera flash going off in their faces in the midst of their ride, hence the red eyes. And then of course, the logos for the park and that terrible star motif that looks like a second grader got a hold of a copy of Photoshop (which isn't too far from the truth! ).
